Manor Shop
Before departing for the evening, don't forget to visit the Manor Shop for unusual holiday gifts and decorations to take home.
Step back in time at Pennsbury Manor, William Penn’s recreated 17th-century plantation, and enjoy a wonderful winter evening in the countryside.
In the radiant glow of candles, torches and luminaries, savor warm mulled cider, mingle with colonial craftspeople and take a guided, candlelit tour of the Manor House.
To add to the festive flavor of Holly Night, enjoy live music and colonial demonstrations of open hearth cooking, blacksmithing and soap-making.
Burning of the Green
Grab your coat and join in the celebration around the 43-acre historic site. Then follow the pathways to the Yule log bonfire to warm up or toss in a sprig of green.
According to legend, this traditional "Burning of the Green" represents past woes and assures good luck in the New Year.
