The Experience
Theatre Exile offers a wide variety of provocative and edgy theatrical experiences in an immediate style ranging from classics like Ionesco’s Rhinoceros to local Playwright Bruce Graham’s The Philly Fan and novelist Don DeLillo’s Valparaiso.
The company is dedicated to introducing the greater Philadelphia community to new locally written works as well as established plays that are reinterpreted in original ways and held in unique site-specific locations. With every show they produce, Theatre Exile articulates a passionate, humorous and particularly Philadelphian sensibility that springs from the tenacious guarding of our own human dignity.
History

Past productions include: Belmont Avenue Social Club, Live at the Apollo Diner, Witold Gombrowicz’s Princess Ivona, and John Lumia’s one man show Amputation Nation.
