Linvilla Orchards

The Pumpkinland Harvest Festival at Linvilla Orchards, a 300-acre, working family farm, celebrates the region’s harvest season.

Located just 20 minutes outside Philadelphia, Pumpkinland is tailor-made for kids. They’ll love everything from the 100-ton pumpkin patch that greets you at the driveway to the huge, oversized scarecrows they’ll see from the road as you pull up. And don’t worry — they’re not too scary!

You can hop on a hayride to go apple-picking, or just stay on the ride and tour the farm. There are farm animals to greet, a corn maze to get lost in, and straw bales to climb on — not to mention the mouth-watering smell of hot apple pie. You’ll also enjoy live music, pony rides, a jack-o-lantern display, face-painting, food and more.

Pumpkinland lasts throughout the picking season, from early fall until just after Halloween.

COME PREPARED

There’s no entry fee and parking is free, but be prepared to pay for hayrides, as well as whatever produce you take home. And remember it’s a working farm — so wear comfortable shoes!
